Having served as an officer for 30 years, the General Manager has undergone extensive military training both domestically and internationally, acquiring a diverse skill set and a profound understanding of military operations.

Military Service: The General Manager's military journey has been marked by a series of notable achievements. Having held various designations at independent infantry company and battalion levels, as well as brigade and army headquarters, the General Manager's expertise extends to army command and staff college, showcasing a well-rounded and comprehensive military background.

International Experience: A testament to the global perspective gained during their military career, the General Manager served as a staff officer in various UN missions. This international exposure further enriched their leadership and operational capabilities.

Instructorship: The General Manager's commitment to shaping the next generation of military leaders is evident in their role as an instructor for army officer cadet training at the prestigious Nepal Military Academy. This role underscores their dedication to passing on knowledge and skills to the future guardians of national security.

Civilian Leadership: Transitioning seamlessly into civilian leadership, the General Manager spent eight years as the Overall Valley Operation Manager at Garud Securities Pvt. Ltd. Their tenure in this position demonstrated an ability to manage and oversee complex operational responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

Current Role: Since 2022, the General Manager has been at the helm of Garud Training Center, serving as the driving force behind our commitment to excellence in training and education. Their leadership is characterized by a fusion of military precision, strategic insight, and a passion for empowering individuals through skill development.

Vision: Under the General Manager's guidance, Garud Training Center aims to continue its legacy of providing top-notch training programs, fostering a culture of excellence, and contributing significantly to employment empowerment in the region.

Chief Instructor Nirmal Thapa Magar brings over three decades of invaluable experience in the Nepali Army to his current role at Garud Training Center. Having served with distinction as an officer, Nirmal has held a diverse range of appointments at different levels within the military hierarchy. His remarkable career includes three deployments in UN peacekeeping missions, showcasing his commitment to global peace and security.

Nirmal Thapa Magar's expertise extends beyond the battlefield, as he has successfully completed various military courses both in Nepal and abroad, solidifying his knowledge and skills in military strategy and leadership. His passion for imparting knowledge led him to engage in various military courses as an instructor, contributing to the development of the next generation of military leaders.

Post-retirement, Nirmal continued his service in crucial security roles, where he served as a Security Supervisor at both the US Embassy in Nepal and the Norwegian Embassy in Nepal. His dedication to security extended to the healthcare sector, where he served as the Security In-Charge at Grande International Hospital in Kathmandu. Currently, in his role as the Chief Instructor at Garud Training Center, Nirmal Thapa Magar is leveraging his extensive experience to shape and enhance security training programs, ensuring the next generation of security professionals is well-prepared and adept in handling complex challenges.

Honorary Lt Rup Bahadur KC, a distinguished veteran with an impressive 26-year tenure in the Nepal Army Special Forces, brings a wealth of experience to the field. Throughout his military service, he held key appointments, notably as a Training Instructor for various army programs in both domestic and foreign settings. His international exposure includes participation in the Area Special Operation Conference in the USA and the Multilateral Insurgency Cooperation Seminar in Thailand. Lt. Rup KC has undergone specialized courses from the US Army, encompassing Joint Combined Exchange Training, Balance Nail Training, The Technique and Philosophy of Aikido Nippon, and First Aid Ranger Training. Since 2016, he has been a dedicated instructor at the Garud Training Center, conducting security-related training for UN security guards deployed in various posts. Renowned for his expertise, Lt. Rup KC has received high appreciation letters from the company and has been honored with multiple UN medals for his contributions to peacekeeping missions in Haiti, Burundi, and Sudan. His commitment to excellence and extensive background make him a respected and sought-after professional in the realm of security training.
